Delaware Office of Highway Safety provides Cheswold PD with new radar unit.

On 6/9/15 The Cheswold Police Department was awarded a new Stalker Dual Radar Unit by the Delaware Office of Highway Safety for their participation in the April Distracted Driver Mobilization.OHS Radar Presentation

The Cheswold Police Department was selected by random draw of all of the participating departments to receive the equipment.

The Cheswold Police Department would like to thank Delaware Office of Highway Safety Director Jana Simpler and Law Enforcement Liaison Roger Miner along with the entire staff for their tireless work with law enforcement and helping to ensure the safety of all residents and visitors of the State of Delaware as the travel our roadways.

Chief Workman stated “We work closely with the Delaware Office of Highway Safety to ensure the safety of our citizens and visitors who travel through our town daily. With the limited resources we have financially, assistance from the Delaware OHS by providing updated equipment for us to use in traffic enforcement helps us to be able to make our roadways safe for everyone in our community.”
