Cheswold Police Family First Fund Toy and Food Drive
Date Posted: Wednesday, March 4th, 2015The Town of Cheswold Police Department is starting the Cheswold Police Department Family First Fund to assist low and middle income families during the holiday season. Since we are just establishing this charitable organization we are currently asking for donations of unwrapped toys and non-perishable food items (no monetary donations please). These items will be used to help those families in the Town of Cheswold who need a little helping hand this holiday season.
You can help by dropping off toys and non-perishable food items to the Town of Cheswold Police Department or Town Hall located at 691 Main St (next to the Shore Stop) Mon through Friday between the hours of 9am and 4 pm between now and December 20th.
On December 20th we will be collecting Turkeys and Hams to be distributed to families during the Holiday season. So come out on December 20th and drop off a ham or turkey for a needy family this holiday season.
If you know a family within the Town of Cheswold who needs a little helping hand this holiday season please contact Chief Chris Workman at (302) 734-2202
