8/16/13 Speeding leads to Heroin Arrest

On 8/16/13 @ approx. 1620 hours Cpl. Louis Simms was conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Main St (Rt 42) and Fox Pointe Rd in the Town of Cheswold when he clocked a vehicle for travelling at 36 MPH in a 25 MPH Residential Zone. Cpl. Simms left his vantage point and made a vehicle stop on a 2003 Hyundai Elantra being driven by a male identified as Brice M. Hall, a 38 yr old B/m from Dover, DE.   While speaking with Mr. Hall, Cpl. Simms detected that he was acting in a nervous manner. After checking Mr. Hall’s Delaware driver’s license through DELJIS he found that the driver had a suspended driver’s license and had an outstanding warrant.   After placing the driver under arrest for his warrant Cpl. Firefly Traffic causing major delays

All Residents: Friday 6/21/13 @ 1235 : Due to the Firefly event in Dover this weekend traffic is bumper to bumper along west bound Rt 42 (Main Street) to Rt 13 (N Dupont Hwy). Rt 13 is also backed up south bound towards Dover from Cheswold to Dover. You will be experiencing delays that we can no longer avoid.
