21 yr old Cheswold Man Charged with Rape of Minor
Date Posted: Wednesday, March 4th, 2015On 9/20/13 Cheswold Police Department following a three day investigation arrested Tyrone A. Turcotte, a 21 yr old b/m from Cheswold, DE on 3 counts of Rape 4th Degree Sexual Intercourse Victim is Less than 16 Years Old and 3 Counts of Sexual Solicitation of a Child Under 18 to Engage in Prohibited Sexual Act, following allegations that the suspect on three (3) seperate occassions between August 3rd and August 10th had sexual intercourse with a 14 yr old female acquaintance at his residence in the Town of Cheswold.
Mr. Turcotte was taken into custody early Friday Morning without incident at his residence in Cheswold and transported to the Cheswold Police Dept. for a interview and notification of charges. He was then transported to Court 8 in Smyrna where warrants were signed and he was arraingned on the charges above.
Mr. Turcotte was transported to Vaughn Correctional Facility for holding pending a court hearing on Monday for an unrelated traffic issue from Court 9 and a Court issued bail requirement of home monitoring prior to release on $30,000 unsecured bail.
